Cuttack (Odisha) [India], August 10 (ANI): The iconic Barabati Stadium in Cuttack is set to witness an exciting season of Odisha T20 League that gets underway on September 18.
Featuring some of the finest cricketers from across the state, the tournament promises high-quality action, emerging talent and fierce competition, according to a press release.
The T20 League will also celebrate Odisha’s rich regional cricketing culture, with franchises representing different parts of the state, including Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Keonjhar and other regions. The league is expected to bring alive regional rivalries, adding an extra layer of excitement for players and fans alike.
The tournament will provide young cricketers a bigger platform to showcase their talent in front of audiences across the country.
Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) Secretary Sanjay Behera said the Odisha T20 League will help young cricketers develop by giving them exposure to top state-level talent, valuable experience and preparation for bigger opportunities.
“We are extremely delighted to kickstart the Odisha T20 League. This tournament will play a vital role in the development of our players. It will provide young cricketers with the opportunity to compete against some of the best talent in the state, gain valuable experience and prepare themselves for bigger stages in the future,” he said.
“The Odisha Cricket Association remains committed to providing the best possible platform for our players while also ensuring an enjoyable experience for fans.
