Dehradun (Uttarakhand) [India], August 19 (ANI): The Uttarakhand Board of School Education has announced the results of the High School and Intermediate Improvement Examinations 2026 (First), with 83.13 per cent of students clearing the High School examination and 73.35 per cent passing the Intermediate examination.

Under the 2026 improvement examinations, the overall pass percentage for High School stood at 83.13%, while the Intermediate pass percentage was 73.35%.

Following the improvement examinations, the overall pass percentages for the Board examinations have also increased significantly.

Uttarakhand Board of School Education and Director of Secondary Education Chairman VP Simlty said the Board has declared the results of the High School and Intermediate Improvement Examinations 2026 (First) as well as the Improvement Examinations 2025 (Third).

Under the first improvement examination of 2026, the overall High School pass percentage was 83.13%, with 82.61% of boys and 84.34% of girls clearing the examination.

In Intermediate, the overall pass percentage stood at 73.35%, with 71.20% of boys and 76.07% of girls passing the examination.

VP Simlty said that the improvement examinations have led to a significant rise in the overall Board examination results. The High School pass percentage increased from 92.10 per cent to 96.07 per cent, with 93.94 per cent of boys and 98.14 per cent of girls passing.

“The High School pass percentage has increased from 92.10% to 96.07%, comprising 93.94% boys and 98.14% girls. Similarly, the Intermediate pass percentage has risen sharply from 85.11% to 91.80%, with 89.26% boys and 94.16% girls among those who passed,” he added.

The Board Chairman also said that the results of the Improvement Examination 2025 (Third) have been declared.

Meanwhile, under the Improvement Examination 2025 (Third), the overall High School pass percentage stood at 66.67 per cent. The pass percentage among boys was 71.88 per cent, while 57.89 per cent of girls cleared the examination.

In Intermediate, the overall pass percentage was 58.70 per cent, with 61.54 per cent of boys and 55 per cent of girls passing the examination.

“In this examination, the overall High School pass percentage was 66.67%, with 71.88% of boys and 57.89% of girls passing. In Intermediate, the overall pass percentage stood at 58.70%, with a pass percentage of 61.54% among boys and 55.00% among girls,” he added. (ANI)
