Noida (Uttar Pradesh) [India], July 7 (ANI): A massive fire broke out at a private company in Noida’s Sector 88 in the early hours on Tuesday, prompting a swift response from the fire department, police said.

Fire tenders reached the spot after receiving the information, and firefighters brought the blaze under control and completely extinguished the fire within a few hours.

There are no casualties in the incident.

Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Pradeep Kumar said, “We received information around 11:15 PM that a fire had broken out at a company in Sector 88, Block B. It was reported to be a major fire right from the start, so we immediately dispatched fire tenders to the site. Upon arrival, we found that the fire had engulfed both the ground and first floors. The company was closed at the time. We deployed a total of eight fire tenders, and after approximately two and a half hours of firefighting operations, the fire was completely extinguished. Since the premises were closed, no one was trapped inside, and there were no casualties.

Asked about the possible cause of the fire, Kimar added, “The security guard noticed smoke coming from the rear; it appears the fire originated from a short circuit in an electrical panel. By the time we were notified, the fire had already spread significantly. However, we managed to extinguish the fire on both floors, and there has been no loss of life.” (ANI)
