Meerut (Uttar Pradesh) [India], September 21 (ANI): BJP National President Nitin Nabin on Monday said there is an atmosphere of trust under the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh where the rule of law prevails under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, contrasting it with earlier uncertainty and stalled development.
Addressing a public gathering, Nabin said, “Today, we can say that there is an atmosphere of trust under the BJP government; there was a time when an atmosphere of uncertainty prevailed here. Today, we can say that under the leadership of the CM Yogi Adityanath, the rule of law prevails. There was a time when development here had stalled—it had come to a standstill—but today, we can say that Uttar Pradesh has embarked on the path of development and is moving forward towards becoming a developed state.”
He accused Congress of never according respect to Baba Saheb Ambedkar and working to topple his governments, and alleged that Samajwadi Party leaders were attempting to divide the state.
“Yet, it is unfortunate that the Congress party never accorded him respect; instead, they worked to topple his governments. Even now, leaders of the Samajwadi Party are traveling across Uttar Pradesh, attempting to divide the state once again… The British left, but their policy of ‘divide and rule’ was adopted first by the Congress and later by the SP,” Nabin said.
Nabin is on a significant two-day visit to Uttar Pradesh on September 21 and 22, which holds immense significance in view of the upcoming Assembly elections.
He will lead various organisational meetings, public programmes and conferences related to election preparations in Uttar Pradesh. He will also visit historical sites and prominent temples to seek blessings, reflecting the BJP’s continued commitment to the values of service, dedication and faith.
On September 22, Nabin will hold an interaction meeting in Meerut in the morning with eminent personalities and distinguished citizens of the region. Thereafter, he will visit the historic Augharnath Temple in Meerut to offer prayers and seek the blessings of Mahadev.
Upon his arrival in Saharanpur, the National President will have lunch at 1:00 PM at the residence of a BJP karyakarta. The National President’s visit to a karyakarta’s home for a meal conveys a strong message of the BJP’s tradition of strengthening its reach to the grassroots.
In Saharanpur, at 2:15 PM, he will interact with former Members of Parliament and legislators of the Western Region.
Immediately thereafter, he will hold a high-level meeting with state and regional office-bearers, district presidents, district in-charges and district general secretaries to deliberate extensively on the election strategy.
To mark the auspicious conclusion of this historic visit, Nabin will offer prayers to Maa Bhagwati at the renowned Siddhapeeth Shakambhari Devi Temple and pray for the prosperity and peace of all citizens of the country and the continued progress of the nation, thereby providing immense strength to the organisation at the grassroots level.
