New Delhi [India], October 5 (ANI): Art collector and reality TV personality Shalini Passi looked back on her childhood celebrations with her grandparents while attending Myntra’s ‘Utsav’-themed festive fashion event in Delhi.

Co-hosted by Meta, the star-studded evening brought together Bollywood actor Triptii Dimri and several prominent digital creators.

Shalini Passi made a striking fashion statement at the event, arriving in an all-blush-pink ensemble and commanding attention on the red carpet.

Speaking to ANI about her memories of Indian festivals, Passi said Diwali celebrations with her grandparents remained particularly special.

“I think for me Diwali with my grandparents was the most beautiful thing and of course Holi and Janmashtami I used to go to the Mandir with my grandparents and I think in India we have all these beautiful festivals and you know since childhood we are brought up in an environment where you know there’s a lot of culture, there are prayers, there are celebrations but it’s also it’s very meaningful. So I think I really cherish that,” she said.

Passi also spoke about the collaboration between Myntra and Meta, calling it something she felt was “much needed”.

“I think it’s really wonderful because this is much needed. Meta, as we know, has just changed the landscape completely, and I think there’s so much to look forward to, and I’m so happy to be here,” she said.

Asked about the most underrated festive piece everyone should know about, Passi said, “I think flowers; I think we need more flowers everywhere.”

Khurana sisters, Kritika and Deeksha, both digital creators, who were also part of the festive gathering, recalled the atmosphere of celebrations in her Punjabi family, including food, decorations, lights and relatives coming together.

“I think Punjabi family, as you said good food, poora decor hote hue lights lag rahi hain. That whole festive feeling and everyone coming together. Matlab beech mein thodi bahut aise bhi khitpit bhi hoti hai. Ye kyon aisa hai kaisa hai? The usual Punjabi family. But I feel like we all come together, and last mein jab hum saath mein baithe hote hain, that feeling is unmatchable,” she said.

Khurana also revealed her favourite festive delicacy, crediting her sister for making it.

“She makes amazing Halwa, like amazing, amazing Aate ka Halwa. That is my favourite,” she said.

On the question of burning off the extra festive calories, Khurana kept the focus on enjoying the celebrations.

“Baad me sochenge guys, just enjoy this festival,” Deeksha Khurana said. (ANI)
