Washington [US], August 22 (ANI): Hailey Bieber reunited with her parents, actor Stephen Baldwin and Kennya Baldwin, for a family dinner in Los Angeles on August 20, two years after she said she was “not super close” with her family.
As per E! News, the Rhode Skin founder was seen stepping out for dinner with her parents and older sister Alaia Baldwin.
The family gathering comes after Hailey spoke openly in a 2024 interview about her independence and her changing relationship with her family.
“I’m not super close with my family at this point in my life because I feel like I’m very independent,” Hailey said at the time, adding, “I’m my own individual now, and I’ve built my own family.”
For the outing, the 29-year-old wore a white baby tee under a black hoodie, paired with matching workout leggings. She completed the casual look with dark sunglasses and a shoulder bag.
Stephen wore a beige short-sleeved button-down shirt with blue jeans and a cap celebrating professional cowboy Lane Frost’s 1987 world championship.
Kennya, his wife of more than 36 years, wore a button-down top with high-waisted brown linen trousers. Alaia opted for a black outfit with a camel-coloured jacket, as per E! News.
Hailey has also previously made clear that her comments about her family did not mean she had cut ties with them.
Reflecting on her childhood, she said, “Obviously, I come from the family that I come from, and I always recognised that that was different,” adding that “when I look back on my childhood and how I grew up, I have very fond, beautiful memories,” as quoted by E! News.
The model has also embraced her family background. During a 2023 appearance on a chat show, she said, “I’m just going to call myself a nepo baby, because I am one, and I embrace that I am.”
Stephen, meanwhile, has publicly praised his daughter’s achievements. In a 2025 interview, he said, “Look at my daughter. I never talk about her, but my daughter has done the impossible, relatively.”
He added, “But in this day and age, in the last 10 years, it’s not impossible. It’s happened,” as quoted by E! News.
“And young people are making unbelievable amounts of money on the Internet in ways that are very sketchy,” he continued, adding, “So, God bless her.”
Stephen has also said he supports his children choosing their own paths. In an earlier interview, he said, “I let my kids do what they’re doing,” before adding, “And if they want to throw a boomerang at me, I’ll call them back.”
Hailey has in recent years focused on growing her beauty business while raising her 23-month-old son Jack with her husband and singer Justin Bieber. (ANI)
