New Delhi [India], August 22 (ANI): Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chief Whip and Burari MLA Sanjeev Jha on Friday filed a formal complaint with the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) over the alleged bicycle scam under the BJP-led Delhi government.

Jha said the alleged scam involved public money and demanded a thorough and impartial investigation into the matter, along with strict legal action against those found responsible. He said all relevant facts and information related to the alleged irregularities had been submitted to the ACB and expressed hope that the agency would conduct a fair investigation.

Talking to the media at the ACB office, Sanjeev Jha said, “Today, we filed a complaint with the Anti-Corruption Bureau regarding the bicycle scam. A scam of around Rs 37 crore has taken place in the purchase of bicycles worth Rs 90 crore.”

“We have submitted all the facts and information related to this scam to the ACB. We hope the ACB will conduct an honest investigation, get to the bottom of the matter and ensure that no one responsible is spared,” he added.

Sanjeev Jha further said, “On the one hand, Satyendar Jain is arrested even though he has nothing to do with the case. On the other hand, despite so many scams and complaints, no action is being taken.”

Jha maintained that the ACB should examine the documents and information submitted by AAP and take appropriate legal action based on the findings of its investigation. (ANI)
